Is Leaving Cookies Out For Snoop Dogg on 4/20 Eve Now A Thing?

This evening, there an in interesting trend going off on Twitter, based on a meme started around 4 years ago. What is it? Leaving cookies out for Snoop Dogg on the eve on 4/20.

And it seems like plenty of people are planning to get involved.

Yes everyone, tonight is 4/20 eve. And people are really celebrating. Thousands of people have tweeted about 4/20 this evening, many of whom are talking about Snoop Dogg.

For those who don't know, 4/20 is the day of celebration of cannabis. The origin of the celebration comes from the number 420, which itself originated from the time 4:20.

The time 4:20 was the time at which a group of smokers named the "Waldos" met after school in the 1970s. Over time, that number essentially became a code word, closely associated with marijuana smoking.

There will be several 4/20 celebrations tomorrow across the United States and Canada. Some of the biggest are in San Francisco, Colorado, and Toronto.

What will Snoop Dogg be doing tomorrow? He's campaigning hard to legalize marijuana across the country.

He has been asking followers to sign a petition to 'free weed.' But he took time to also let everyone know that he's excited about having cookies left out for him on 4/20 eve.
