Greg "Opie" Hughes and Jim Norton took the remains of the Opie and Anthony Show to Montreal's Just For Laughs Comedy Festival Thursday.

The gig had been scheduled before the firing of co-host Anthony Cumia.

The remaining show members, who many suspect will join Cumia in a subscription-based online show when their contracts expire in October, were obligated to attend as Norton was scheduled to give a keynote speech at the festival.

In addition to broadcasting over SiriusXM, the show was also aired for free on Opie's YouTube channel https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bAv3wFoA4lY. While not an everyday occurrence Opie appears to be doing that more often which suggests he's looking to build audience, which would make sense if a split from SiriusXM is imminent.

Opie and Norton will be live from the festival Friday as well.
