New music isn't the only thing that Wiz Khalifa has been pushing this week. Following the news of a shooting that left Alton Sterling dead, Khalifa took to Twitter to offer some wise words.
"Anger never solved anything. Be brave enough to look your demons in the face and show them love," tweeted Khalifa.
"Love is the only way. Love for your people or hate for another man? Love is the most important thing to focus on. My heart and prayers go out to his family #AltonSterling."
Khalifa's message comes after video footage of Sterling's account with police officers surfaced, sparking outrage by the Baton Rouge community, as well as the families of other victims of police brutality.
There is an official investigation open and no charges have been issued at the moment.
Quinyetta McMillan, the mother of Sterling's son gave a speech to the public as her son wept in the background. The event has reignited the conversation of police brutality and shootings that have claimed the lives of other minorities.
Khalifa also offered some words to fans who did not believe in the message he was sending. You can check out Khalifa's message and his tweets to fans below.
